WIC-WORLD INLINE CUP is a official world roller skating marathon circuit authorized by FIRS-International Roller Sports Federation, and organized by Swiss Iguana Think Tank AG, which has over ten stops with attractive prize.

　　2006 WIC SUZHOU TOUR OF TAIHU LAKE WORLD MARATHON, hosted by Suzhou Municipal Government, Leisure Sport Guide Center of General Administration of Sport of China, Chinese Roller Skating Association, organized by Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Sports, Wuzhong District Government, Administrative Committee of Taihu Lake National Tourism and Holiday Zone of Suzhou, will be held through Sept 10th to 12th, in historic and famous city of Suzhou.

　　In order to provide a chance to compete with top skaters in the world for domestic fans, National Road Roller Skating Championships will be held through Sept 8th to 12th, with aim to expand the influence of this competition.

　　The competition is the third but last stop of whole 2006 WIC season, which will be held in picturesque and elegancy tour of Taihu Lake Landscape Avenue in Taihu Lake Tourism and Vacation Zone, starts at 9:30am, September 12th.

　　The groups will be:1）whole distance marathon: male group and female group 42km, 2) amateur group: 6km. Participators are: WIC international team—about 100 skaters; WIC professional skaters—about 200 skaters; skaters from national association and roller skating fans. It is hoped that 2000 skaters will participate in. In order to attract more and better skaters, the organizing committee will prepare elegant gift and $30000 prize.
