Entry Rules:

1. All Skaters with roller skating training background are allowed to participate in the competition

2. Participants who are under 16 should have the permitting of guardian while entry, and accompanied with guardian when going to competing.

3. Participants are advised to entry in the race upon his/her own physical condition and training level.

4. Participants should assure that healthy on the day of competition.

5. People who fall into the following categories are advised NOT to participate in the marathon competition:

▲those with congenital heart disease and rheumatic heart disease             

▲those with hypertension and cerebrovascular disease those with myocarditis and other heart disease
▲ those has serious coronary artery disease and serious arrhythmia
▲ diabetics with blood sugar of overhigh or overlow
▲others who are not suitable to sport

Race Course:

The starting (42km and 8km groups) is in the east square of Taihu Xintiandi. 42km group will turn around on the crossing of Landscape Avenue and Shanshui Road, back to the starting. Finishing of 8km is on the crossing of Landscape Avenue and Xishan Exit of Suzhou City-belt highway. The width of race course is 6m-10m.

Entry deadline: Open for entry until June 30^th  

Entry fee: USD 40.00 per person, USD 60.00 per person for delay.

Check in:

8:00am July 11th, 2008 to 12:00am 12th in official Hotel (Suzhou Central Hotel) .

Check in procedure:

The entrants of 42km: pay entry fee, hand in copy of passport, and receive accreditation, number, timing chip, souvenir and Note for Participant. 

The entrants of 8km: pay entry fee, receive souvenir, and Note for Participant. 

Rules:
1. the events are conducted in accordance with Rules and Regulations for WorldMarathon certified by CIC, WIC.

2. One start for all races.

3. Gate closing time:

4. An electronic timing system will be used for recording results. All 42km participants are required to wear a timing chip, which will be distributed upon a deposit of 200RMB. Deposits are refundable when chips are returned after the race at the site.

Transportation and Accommodation:

Transportation

Organizing Committee will arrange shuttles from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to official hotel (Suzhou Central Hotel). (From 9:00am July 11^th to 8:00pm and from 9:00am July 12^th to 12:00am) 

Organizing Committee will provide transportation from official hotel (Suzhou Central Hotel) to venue on July 13th for the participants staying in official hotel.

The price:

Double room 60USD for a person per day

Single room 80USD for a person per day

Service:

※ Transportation between airport and official hotel(From 9:00am July 11^th to 8:00pm and from 9:00am July 12^th to 12:00am)

Awards:

42km Group: Top finishers in Men's and Women's Marathon will be issued with bonus (in USD, see the chart below), cup, certificate, and will be invited to participate in Closing Ceremony at 6:30pm on July 13^th.

8km: Finishers of Marathon will receive a certificate at the FINISH of 8km

Equipment & Suit:

Portative helmets, kneepad and wrist guards are mandatory to participate in the event. Participates have not protections according to Rulebook of WIC will be forbidden to race.

Insurance: 

Participates from abroad and Hong Kong, Macau and Chinese Taipei have to have individual accident and illness insurance.
